Start Your Countdown to The Food and Wine Festival
It’s time to begin the countdown to the Food and Wine Festival coming to Epcot this Fall. In just 3 short months, an array of outdoor kitchens will begin offering guests all the food (and wine) they can imagine!
The 24th Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will begin on August 29th and will run for a record-setting 87 days.
Celebrity Chefs
Many different celebrity chefs will be making an appearance at this year’s festival and you won’t want to miss them! New this year are restauranteur Fabio Viviani (September 15), Food Network star and cookbook author Aarti Sequeira (November 17), and David Burtka (October 13) – celebrity chef, “Life is a Party” author, and husband to Neil Patrick Harris.
Sunday Brunch with the Chef
A fan favorite event is the Sunday Brunch with the Chef which will return this year. Among the lineup of chefs are Jamie Deen (September 1), Carla Hall (September 8), Richard Blais (September 22), Rober Irvine (September 29), and Graham Elliot (November 10). For more information and to make reservations you can visit TasteEpcot.com or call (407) 939-3378.
Eat to the Beat Concert Series
Every good festival needs good music and this year’s concert series has some names you may recognize! From August 29 through November 19, the festival will host the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. The series hosts a total of 249 concerts featuring artists such as India (“Mi Mayor Venganza”), Taylor Dayne (“Tell it to My Heart”), Kenny G (“Songbird”), Plain White T’s (“Hey There Delilah”), Everclear (“Wonderful”), Sugar Ray (“Every Morning”, “Someday”, “Fly”), and many more.
Enjoy guaranteed seating for these concerts with an Eat to the Beat Dining Package. Packages are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at select Epcot restaurants.
Family Events
Festivals bring plenty of fun for the whole family. A popular event is the Candy Sushi class hosted by Adventures by Disney. Located at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion, this class is offered twice a day for a small fee. Families are paired with a Disney chef and taught how to create their own sweet sushi rolls. Book reservations through TasteEpcot.com or stop by the pavilion for availability. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended.
Mmm… chocolate!
Sport Your Gear
Many guests are starting to create their own ears and shirts right at home. Buf if you’re not feeling crafty, or prefer official merchandise, Disney has you covered.
Guests will be able to choose from a “sprinkle of fun” merchandise including a cupcake headband or Chef Figment (“Journey into Imagination”) and Chef Remy (“Ratatouille”) inspired wares.
