Check Out These Awesome Eats Now Available at Disney Springs
There is no better place for Disney-loving foodies than Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Each month, we here at MickeyBlog are in awe of the amazing eats and treats seemingly unveiled every week. That’s why we thought it was about time for a quick round-up of some of the latest goodies available this month. If you’re visiting Disney World in the weeks ahead be sure to make a note of this awesome menu items and give one or two a try!
Cannonballs Meatball Sandwich – Earl of Sandwich
For sandwich lovers, it doesn’t get much better than the amazing varieties on offer at Earl of Sandwich which has reached cult-like status among Disney regulars. High on their list of awesome menu items is the Cannonballs Meatball Sandwich. This delicious sarnie is made with mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, marinara sauce and of course delicious meatballs. The restaurant is saying that the Cannonballs Sandwich is back for a limited time only so pick up yours while you can.
Thigh High Chicken Biscuits- Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
If you haven’t tried the incredible Cheddar Drop Biscuits at Homecomin’ you haven’t lived. Our favorite way to eat them is piled high with Chicken thighs and bread and butter pickles. This finishing touch is a drizzle of hot honey making this treat nothing short of perfect!
Banana Springs Cupcake – Sprinkles
Bon Bon Anglais- Coca Cola Rooftop Bar
We can’t think of a better place to cool off while watching the world pass by than at this awesome rooftop bar. Who needs Club Cool at Epcot when you can sip on sodas from around the world. May’s Drink of the month is the Bon Bon Fleur featuring the Madagascar bubblegum flavored soda Bon Anglais. Or for those looking for a mixed drink how about a delicious ice frosted Jack and Coke!
Polite Rub Chicken Wings – The Polite Pig
If were’ dining at Disney Springs, chances are you’ll find us at Polite Pig. Delicious barbecue doesn’t get much better than this. Trust us when we say that the Chicken Wings are absolutely delicious. They come with a side of pickled carrots.
Brekkie In a Burger – Raglan Road
Head over to this much-loved Irish Pub for this delicious am treat featuring a sausage patty, rashers, white pudding, hash brown, fried egg and Ballymaloe gourmet ketchup!
New Flatbreads – Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
This is the place to be for guests looking for an afternoon cocktail paired with some light bites. Available from now until June 21st are these awesome new flatbreads. The Sticky Date Flatbread features Medjool Dates, Manchego, Caramelized Onions, Crispy Prosciutto, Balsamic Glaze, Fresh Rosemary. Then there’s the Stolen Apple Flatbread which comes with Fuji Apple and Arugula Salad, Apple Blossoms, Arugula Pesto, Goat Cheese and Lamb Sausage.
Aladdin Petit Cake – Amorette’s Patisserie
Celebrate the live-action release of Aladdin with this delicious sweet treat from Amorette’s Patisserie. This petit cake features layers of Almond Chiffon cake with Amoretto Simply Syrup, Fig Pate de Fruit, 5 Spice mousse, Almond Pecan Granola and Golden Raising Jam.
Strawberry Shortcake – Sprinkles
With Summer around the corner and the sun shining it is definitely Strawberry Shortcake Season and Sprinkles bakery has you covered. From now until June 2nd guests can pick up the Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake which features vanilla cake filled with strawberry compote, topped with Strawberry buttercream frosting and Strawberry Crumble. Available now through June 2nd.
