8 Reasons Why We Love Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
At the end of January, MickeyBlog ran a post about some of the many reasons why Columbia Harbour House is one of our favorite places to grab some Quick Service grub at the Magic Kingdom. One of readers reached out and asked “What about Epcot?” Well it just so happens that we have a favorite spot there too- Sunshine Seasons! This has long been our go-to-spot for breakfasts, lunch or dinner on the go. With that in mind, here are 8 reasons why Sunshine Seasons is big on our Disney dining list!
1. Location, Location Location!
Sunshine Seasons sits on the ground level of the gorgeous Land Pavilion. This bright and airy building is adorned with beautiful streamers and hot air balloons making for a whimsical view as you dine. The building is also always nice and cool making it a great place to pass an hour during those hot Epcot afternoons.
2. Spacious Seating Area
No matter how busy Epcot or Sunshine Seasons gets, I have never had to wait around for a table to open up. That is a huge plus for weary travellers. The large open seating area offers plenty of tables and booths for families to sit back, relax and enjoy your meal!
3. Delicious Breakfast Options
With most of the eateries in the World Showcase not opening until 11 am, knowing where to grab some early morning grub in Epcot can be a bit tricky. Luckily for diners, Sunshine Seasons is typically open from 9 am serving up a range of delicious breakfast options. Some of our favorites include the Breakfast Power Wrap which comes with wild rice, sweet potatoes, blueberries, avocado and tofu, the Cinnamon French Toast Bread Pudding served with bacon and Vanilla and Flax Overnight Oats served with blueberries and pecans.

4. Nearby Attractions
For those of you that aren’t familiar with The Land pavilion, it is also the home of one of Epcot’s most popular headling attractions- Soarin’ Around the World, the ground level near Sunshine Season is also where you’ll find the loading area for the Living With the Land attraction taking your through the amazing pavilion greenhouses. With all that delicious fruit and veg nearby Sunshine Seasons even uses many of these homegrown items in their dishes. How’s that for locally sourced!
5. Awesome Afternoon Eats
After a few days at Disney, one can get sick of subsisting on a diet of burgers, churros and chicken nuggets. That’s why the menu at Sunshine Seasons is such a refreshing change! You’ll find an eclectic array of dishes here! Some of our favorites include: The Mongolian Beef made with seared beef, onions, carrots, snap peas, broccoli in a Mongolian style sauce., the Power Salad with Chicken made with kale, Brussel sprouts, chicory, quinoa, dried cherries, goat cheese, almonds, sliced chicken breast and spice honey vinaigrette and for dessert the Whoopie Pie made with two red velvet cake cookies, cream cheese filling and chocolate chips.

6. Vegan Options
For those on a Vegan diet, knowing where to get good Vegan dishes at Walt Disney World can be a bit of a challenge. Luckily Sunshine Seasons is one of a handful of restaurants that have garnered a reputation for offering nice, fresh vegan options that are sure to please. A couple of our favorites are the Vegan Korma made with Gardein Meatless Chick’n and the Tamarind Vegan Stir-fry!
