New Parking Reservation System Arrives at Orlando International Airport
We are always looking for ways to make the travel experience smoother, and if you are flying into Orlando International Airport anytime soon, you have a great new tool to help you.
Orlando International Airport has recently introduced a New Parking Reservation System. This program allows passengers to secure a parking spot before their vacations and travels.
New Program Debuts
In the past decade, the airport has experienced a 20% increase in traffic, especially from local residents.
To alleviate the stress and parking pressure, MCO opened new surface lots with over 2,000 additional spaces.
Kevin J. Thibault, chief executive officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority shared:
This is a perfect example of our strategic plan in action, which focuses on innovation to meet demand and our customers’ needs. Having the option to secure parking in advance can help more passengers to experience a seamless journey.

The Reserve Parking initiative is currently available in Garage C on Level 4. Watch the video below for easy steps on reserving your spot.
The new program allows passengers to log in via Reserved Parking at MCO or the MCO mobile app. It walks travelers through each step of inputting car info, payment, and receiving a QR code.
The program costs $32/day and features 715 first-come, first-serve parking spots.
Reservations can be made up to 365 days in advance. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy and a 50% forfeiture fee for late cancellations.
If the program is successful, the airport plans to extend it to additional garages and lots.
