Lightyear Trailer Coming to Audiences Soon
Lightyear stars Chris Evans as the real Buzz Lightyear, and it releases next year. However, the Lightyear trailer comes soon, as glimpse into this anticipated movie.

The Revealing Tweet
Apparently, a Pixar employee created and quickly deleted a Tweet revealing a timeframe for the first trailer. Daniel Gonzalez suggested via Twitter that Lightyear‘s first trailer will be in theaters this November, which is before Disney’s Encanto.

Indeed, Gonzalez’s post had plenty of screenshots. Although the information is not concrete, it seems to be pretty reliable since it came from a Pixar employee.

Lightyear is not a prequel of Toy Story, but more like a spin-off. It tells the story of the “real” Buzz Lightyear, the original inspiration for the toy.

Therefore, Tim Allen does not voice this Buzz Lightyear, who voiced the toy Buzz Lightyear throughout the Toy Story franchise. Instead, Chris Evans scored the role of the actual Buzz Lightyear.

Pixar’s Pete Docter stated, “At first glance, you might think, ‘Well, this is a Toy Story film.’ Well, not so fast. See…we designed Buzz Lightyear…based on some really cool character from an epic, blockbuster film. Well, all these years later, we decided it’s time to make that film.”
