These Plant-Based Foods Brought Some Serious Flavor to EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival!
Get ready for the ultimate springtime event at Walt Disney World! The 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival has begun and MickeyBlog is here to check everything out.
We are bringing you an exciting first look at all the new offerings that dropped today, from merchandise to topiaries to food items. So, come along with us as we try out some more food at the festival!
La Isla Fresca
Get ready to indulge in fresh island-inspired flavors at La Isla Fresca! This outdoor kitchen is located between the Morocco and France Pavilions in the World Showcase.
The menu features a couple of food items, like the new Jamaican Beef Patty!
First up, we tried the plant-based Impossible Jamaican Beef Patty with spicy papaya syrup for $6.50.
This had a ton of great flavor to it, but it does pack some heat so be careful if you don’t like spicy foods! We really enjoyed it, though.
Next, we got the returning Coconut Tres Leches for $5. This is a vanilla cake soaked with oat, almond, and coconut milks with toasted coconut. It’s plant-based and is an item on the Garden Graze food crawl!
This cake was light, fluffy, and not too sweet! If you like coconut and vanilla, this is a great plant-based dessert option.
As for drinks here, the booth features the non-alcoholic Tropical Slush with lemonade, grapefruit, and simple syrup for $4.50, the Tropical Breeze with Don Q Límon Rum for $11.50, the new Wicked Weed Brewing Mango Wowie Hazy IPA with Mango for $5.75 (6 oz) or $9.75 (12 oz), and the Florida Orange Groves Winery Tropical Perception White Sangria for $11.50.
