Benches Added To Walkway Between Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that the pedestrian walkway from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to the Magic Kingdom is officially open. This new route offers a quick and easy way to get from Disney’s beloved deluxe resort to the theme park without having to wait on buses, boats and monorails.
Now there’s even a perfect way to kick back and take in the simply stunning surroundings.
Our MickeyBlogger was on the scene at the Grand Floridian today and noticed that new park benches have been added to the path!
We noticed these nearer to the Magic Kingdom side of the walkway. You can see the monorail tracks just behind.
Here’s another fabulous shot of the Magic Kingdom Monorail station as well as the Contemporary Resort over to the right. It looks so peaceful amongst the vintage streetlights and Spanish Moss.
Whether it’s to hop from resort to theme park or for those heading over to the Grand Floridian for a dining reservation, we encourage you to give the footpath a try.
Disney has done a fabulous job of creating this alternate route to the theme park.
As a matter of fact, it’s so impeccable that we feel like it’s always been there!
For more information on the footpath route, check out this article here.
As always readers are also encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog where we’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week throughout the Holiday Season!
