Temuera Morrison Talks Book of Boba Fett
We Know More Than We Did Before Boba Fett Spoke to Express…
“Star Wars” interviews go so similarly; each time. The celebrity says, “No, no, no, you aren’t getting anything out of me.”
Then the interviewer, sometimes innocently, gets something out of the celebrity. And even the tiniest bit is Star Wars news.
Case in point, Temuera Morrison, aka Boba Fett (nee Jango Fett).
He gave us some somewhat benign (story-wise) but interesting information.
Boba Spills the Beans
The Express’ Callum Crumlish posted:
When asked what plot details he could give us about the new show, Morrison laughed: “You know the rules, nothing! Nothing!”
But then Boba spilled the beans.

We learned:
- The show exists in the timeline of The Mandalorian.
- It’s a two-character show, with Fennec Shand the other half of the “duo.
- Robert Rodriquez, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Dave Filoni will direct.
- Second season has been broached as of yet.
And Morrison heaped praise on the folks in charge of both series.
“Keeping Star Wars fans happy and excited won’t be too much of a problem considering The Book of Boba Fett is being handled by some of the greatest creators of the series, Morrison added,” wrote Crumlish. “First and foremost in the line-up, he explained, is Jon Favreau of Marvel fame.
“The director and executive producer has worked tirelessly on expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe from behind the scenes.”
While expressing some excitement over the cache of directors, Morrison told The Express:
Jon [Favreau] has come up with some magical formulas... But, I think we’re blessed in the way Favreau has all that Marvel experience, so we know where those storylines go. Let’s see what happens.”
Let’s see, indeed.
