Disney Announces When to Expect Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Preview Dates
Earlier today, we reported that we’re almost there, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open at Magic Kingdom on June 28, 2024. After months of waiting, the big day is almost here!
While the cat got out of the bag a little bit early, the official announcement of the attraction’s opening date came during tonight’s episode of American Idol, which was appropriately themed “Disney Night.”

After Jenifer Lewis performed “Dig a Little Deeper,” Ryan Secrest took to the Idol stage to announce the official opening date!
A New Orleans Celebration
As America was learning the news on their television, Princess Tiana and Louis were celebrating down in New Orleans. Joining them for the festivities were the Chase family, PJ Morton (who contributed to the attraction’s soundtrack), and the St. Augustine High School marching band!

Along with the attraction’s official opening date, Disney is giving fans a glimpse at what is to come.
Tiana’s Bayou adventure will take place after the events of The Princess and the Frog.

According to Disney, guests will join Princess Tiana on “an adventure through the bayou as she prepares to host a one-of-a-kind celebration during Mardi Gras season where everyone is welcome. Along the way, you will see some familiar faces, make new friends and travel through the bayou into the next chapter of Tiana’s story.”
Preview Dates Will Be Announced May 14
The upcoming attraction will feature original music and familiar songs from The Princess and the Frog soundtrack!

While we now have an official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom, Disney is promising more details will follow.
On May 14, we should learn when attraction previews will start for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Vacation Club Members.
