A Fun, Free LEGO Event Popped Up for Star Wars Day at Disney Springs
We weren’t joking when we said there was so much to do at Disney for Star Wars Day!
Yesterday was May the Fourth, and our reporters had a fantastic day across the Walt Disney World Galaxy, taking in all the unique, celebratory experiences on offer. We battled with crowds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, sampled some unique treats from planets far away, and even met the coolest visiting droid over in Batuu!
But, that wasn’t all!
Celebrating with LEGO Star Wars
We’re over here in Disney Springs, where the Marketplace LEGO Store has arranged quite the pop-up for this special Star Wars celebration!
Out here in the sunshine, a huge activity has been set up for guests, allowing participants to help create a huge mural for Star Wars Day… all made out of LEGO!
The way it works is guests are given a small flat base brick, and a pattern for them to copy. Then, using individual bricks from the colors laid across the tables, the guests need to re-create that specific pattern.
Once completed, each design is affixed to the mural wall, creating a mosaic-style mural of LEGO Star Wars characters!
How fun is that?
This fabulous event was completely free for passers-by to participate in, and was set up at Disney Springs between May 3rd and May 4th.
Unfortunately, this does mean the experience has ended, but guests have been advised to keep an eye on the Disney Springs website for a full, finished look at the completed mural!
We love seeing activities and experiences like this pop up at Disney Springs, offering guests even more fun things to do outside of the parks themselves here at Walt Disney World.
