Yep, it’s May the Fourth, and our MickeyBlog reporters are over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (along with half the galaxy) to enjoy the best celebrations the planet has to offer. So far, we’ve seen awesome merch, snacks, and the coolest new droid… but now we’re taking a dessert break!
So, join us over here at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, where this new treat is giving fruity, intergalactic foodie peculiarity like never before.
It’s the Mossberry Biscuit, a limited-time menu offering exclusively for the May 4th period. Of course we had to place an order, so let’s check it out!
Mossberry Biscuit
Costing $5.49, this sweet scone is described as a biscuit topped with ube and matcha icing, a lump of ube micro sponge cake, and a scattering of dehydrated blueberries. Oh, and sprinkles. Obviously.
There’s some vivid colors and even wilder flavors going on here, so we couldn’t wait to take a bite!
It was our MickeyBlogger Jared trying this today, and he told us that it was definitely tastier than he was originally expecting. The biscuit was fluffy inside a crunchy exterior, with the flavorsome ube and matcha toppings really bringing the dessert to life. Despite being “dehydrated,” we also found that the blueberries were deliciously juicy too!
Sounds good.
While not the favorite limited-time dish we’ve tried for Star Wars Day today (stay tuned to MickeyBlog for more reviews later on!) we can confirm that this was still a tasty option that we’d certainly recommend to readers.
It’s available here at Docking Bay 7 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios until the end of the month, so be sure to place your order by then!
And May the Fourth Be With You, always!
