Crowds Come Out in Full Force for Star Wars Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
May the Fourth Be With You, readers!
It’s Star Wars Day, and what better planet to celebrate on than Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
Of course, your MickeyBlog reporters have landed here to celebrate the day in style, and we’re so ready to share with you all the epic themed treats, merch, experiences and more that the park has to offer.
However, we’re certainly not the only ones who’ve travelled here today. Just look at these crowds!
There’s more people here than there were Storm Troopers aboard the Death Star!
Yep, it looks like it’s going to be a busy day of intergalactic adventures here at Star Wars Studios, but the energy is as palpable as Palpatine’s menace, and we’re so excited to see what the day brings.
We’re not even through the park’s security gates yet, but as you can see from our photos, the May 4th celebrations have already reached us!
Can you see the sign that this friendly Cast Member is holding?
Ah! Inspired by The Mandalorian, the handy sign reads “This Is the Way.”
What better signage to guide us through the galaxy today?
As we head into the park, there’s so much on our agenda to explore and enjoy today. As always, you can stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com today for all the best Star Wars Day coverage from right here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and beyond.
But, these crowds just don’t seem to be getting any smaller!
Keystone Clothiers
One particular spot we’ve seen crowds flocking towards is Keystone Clothiers, where we know a large amount of Star Wars merch is ready to be snagged.
Due to the immense crowd levels, the store has actually had to close its doors, and direct guests to form an orderly queue which stretches right around the building!
There’s friendly Cast Members on hand to help manage numbers of guests entering the building, ensuring a safe capacity in-store at all times. Whew!
Tatooine Traders
Over here at Tatooine Traders, we can see even more crowds of avid shoppers! As this store marks the exit to Star Tours, we imagine it’s even harder to manage crowd levels in this building.
If you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we hope you have a fantastic time! Be prepared for long waits and heavy crowding, but all the best of Star Wars spirit to see you through!
May the Fourth Be With You, everyone!
