Special “Brother Bear” Characters Arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Week!
This Earth Month, there’s no better place to celebrate than at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
A beautiful haven of nature, exploration, imagination and conservation, it truly is the epitome of appreciation for our gorgeous planet!
Each year, the park sees various exciting experiences take place to mark this most important occasion, and April 2024 has once again felt ever-so-celebratory here at Walt Disney World.
So far, we’ve seen tasty treats, unique photo opportunities, and even some rare characters stop by for a meet & greet. Now, however, a special appearance from even more friendly faces has got us feeling all warm and fuzzy… just look who it is!
Can you spot who that is on the river, floating closer towards us?
Yes! It’s Koda and Kenai, from Disney’s Brother Bear!
A Special Flotilla Appearance
Especially for Earth Week, these two adorable bears have been spotted cruising down Discovery River aboard one of the fun flotillas at the park. Passing guests will be able to wave to the pair from bridges and other waterside spots across the park, making for a fun and unique character interaction exclusive to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
As you can see from the photos snapped by our MickeyBlog reporters today, both Koda and Kenai are looking particularly happy and celebratory, ready to commemorate the Earth Week occasion in style.
We loved watching the duo laughing, dancing and waving from aboard the foliage-decorated flotilla, interacting wildly with both the guests… and each other!
Many guests will know that both Kenai and Koda are rarely seen by guests across the parks, with the pair usually only making their way down to Walt Disney World for particularly special occasions.
We did see them make an appearance last year for Earth Month, however, so we’re grateful for this fun tradition which seems to have been made!
If you’re headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom during April, be sure to be on the lookout for any new and unique experiences taking place exclusively for Earth Month.
Of course, you can always stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com for all the latest updates as we enjoy this beautiful event, and we look forward to having you reading along with us!
See you soon, Kenai and Koda!
