Brother Bear Flotilla Takes to the Waterways at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Our MickeyBloggers are at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where special touches have been added as the theme park celebrates its 25th Anniversary this month. You’ll find special merch, eats and treats and we even caught a flotilla this afternoon featuring characters from Brother Bear.
Kenai and Koda look absolutely adorable.
We saw them from the bridge as we headed into Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
There were at the front of a wicker barge waving to the crowds.
Animal Kingdom offered special character flotillas during COVID as a way for guests to experience Disney characters from a distance.
We’re glad that the flotillas are something they continue to do!
We love seeing the Brother Bear characters.
For those unfamiliar, Brother Bear is a Disney animated film from 2003.
The film is set in the Pacific Northwest and tells the tale of three Native American brothers; Sitka, Denahi, and Kenai.
When Sitka is killed by a bear Kenai sets out to get vengeance when the great spirit turns him into a bear!
On his quest, Sitka is befriended by a bear cub named Koda as well as a moose duo, Tuke and Rutt!
You can meet a lot of fabulous characters while at Disney’s Animal Kingdom including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pocahontas, Baloo, King Louie, and more!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for more Disney’s Animal Kingdom 25th Anniversary news and updates.
