PHOTOS: Jungle Cruise Exit Refurbishment Wraps Up in Adventureland
Walt Disney World’s Jungle Cruise has been entertaining guests now for almost 53 years. Perhaps it is no surprise then that the attraction needs a little work from time to time.
Over the past couple of years, we have seen Disney reimagine the attraction itself, with original story elements removed and new scenes added.
The last time we checked in, part of the exit was blocked off as crews were working on replacing the wood floors.
Here is a closer look at the area under construction.
Construction Has Wrapped Up
Well, I am happy to report that today, when visiting Adventureland, we noticed that work has been completed on the Jungle Cruise exit.
You can see the clear difference between the concrete of Adventureland and the new wood floors of the Jungle Cruise dock.
The floors are clearly redone but also look aged to fit in with the general theme of the Jungle Cruise. While most guests may not notice the theming, it adds to the whole area.
Here is another look. The new floors look great to me!
The exit refurbishment may not be the biggest news story. However, it’s great to see Disney paying attention to the details.
As always, continue to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
