PHOTOS: Jungle Cruise Gets Some New Upgrades in Magic Kingdom
It’s been a minute since we provided an update for this amazing Magic Kingdom attraction, but we noticed some minor construction happening on today’s visit.
Our team was up early this morning with the spring break crowds, and we went straight to Adventureland to check out what was new. One of our must-do attractions, the Jungle Cruise, is undergoing some minor updates and a bit of a refresh.
Let’s take a closer look at what updates are happening on this fan-fave ride.
Construction Update
In October of 2023, we started to see the first glimpses of a refresh. After years of slowly being worn down there was netting and scrim covering the main temple entrance.
In January 2024, all of the netting was removed revealing the grandness of the Cambodian shrine and its entrance and exit.
Today, we noticed that construction has moved more towards the exit.
Small construction walls and dark tarps cover a small portion of the area.
And it looks like the queue has also been refreshed.
Below, you can see the updates in the Lightning Lane queue.
The flooring has been redone and it looks great.
Here is another great look at the queue!
The fence poles are the same, but the surrounding fence and netting have been updated.
Another great look at the attraction!
The Jungle Cruise updates have not had any guest impact and appear to be minor tweaks that happen with the general “wear and tear” of a ride.
Make sure you stop by and embark on this 10-minute, “10,000-mile journey” of fun and adventure. And stay tuned to MickeyBlog to stay updated on this and all things Disney.
