A Tornado Watch Has Been Issued For Walt Disney World
Earlier today, we brought you the news that Disney World was getting ready for strong winds and stormy weather throughout the afternoon today.
At the time, it looked like the strongest storms and any potential tornados would be north of the Most Magical Place on Earth.

As the storms have drawn near, however, the National Weather Service has extended its Tornado Watch to East Central Florida. That means that Walt Disney World is now under a Tornado Watch until 3 p.m. ET today in both Orange and Osceola Counties.

Earlier today, we saw the Magic Kingdom preparing for inclement weather by tying closed umbrellas and flags.

So, if you are at Disney World today, be prepared and stay safe! A Tornado Watch does not mean that a tornado is imminent, but it does mean that the conditions for a tornado are right.
Sunny Days Are on the Horizon
There is good news on the horizon. After today, the rest of the week calls for temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s with low humidity. So, if you are currently in the midst of a Walt Disney World vacation, have no fear. Better weather is on the horizon.
