Storybook Circus is Getting Ready For ‘Smellephants on Parade’ in Magic Kingdom
Storybook Circus has looked a little different over the last week, as the ticket booths in front of Big Top Souvenirs have been removed.
Instead, guests approaching the large gift shop are now greeted by a rolling planter, which has been centered under the tent’s marquee.
While many guests won’t notice the removal of the ticket booths, it likely points to something larger.
Smellephants on Parade is Coming
The latest changes in Storybook Circus are likely related to the planned Smellephants on Parade interactive experience announced last year.
The family-friend “Seach and Sniff” adventure, presented by Scentsy, will take guests on a scavenger hunt through Storybook Circus.
The experience will begin with guests answering a call from Timothy Q. Mouse, who is looking for a “Whiff-sistant” to join Dumbo’s new act.
To start their adventure, guests will proceed to the Big Top Souvenirs ticket booths, where Cast Members will provide them with a map and sticker sheet to guide their training.
Storybook Circus is Getting Ready
The removal of the Big Top Souvenirs ticket booths, whether for refurbishment or to allow a more functional booth to be installed, is yet another hint that we are getting closer to the arrival of Smellephants on Parade.
Last month, Disney filed construction permits for Storybook Circus, further indicating that the experience will be here soon.
