PHOTOS: The Latest DVC Tower Updates at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Construction work continues, and progress is moving along on the Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village and Resort. We love checking in to see the updates.
This section of Disney property has been steadily transforming, and it is looking great, especially on this sunny Spring day.
Over the last few months, MickeyBlog has shared great photos and updates of the structure as it receives new Island-inspired rooftops, fresh paint, and more.
Our last update included exterior painting and new awnings being installed, and today, we have new photos and a few small additions to share!
DVC Tower Updates
Construction crews are hard at work on the new luxury towers.
The first changes we noticed appear on the front of the building. Plenty of scaffolding is still visible, and the painting has progressed!
The lower right side of the building has been painted, and a pathway is starting to take shape.
We also noticed rebar is on the ground.
As you head along to the back of the buildings, there are a few more updates we noticed. If you look closely, you can see a gazebo in the lower left corner of the pictures.
Based on the original concept art, this new section could possibly be the new restaurant and the pool area.
Here is another great look!
Here is a different view of the construction updates. Hopefully, we are getting closer to the completion of the towers.
The new luxury tower is constructed where the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show was originally located.
Nestled on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, we cannot wait to see the end result. The new tower will include one and two-bedroom villas, a large pool, excellent dining options, and more- all while capturing the spirit of the South Pacific.
Be sure to get a view of the progress on your next visit to Walt Disney World.
Coming Soon
The new Disney Vacation Club Towers are expected to open “sometime in late 2024,” and here is a refresher of the final look.
The Polynesian Village Resort currently has DVC rooms, but these are limited to studios and over-the-water bungalows.
Direct sales are not yet open for the new Tower, but it will be part of the pre-existing Polynesian Villas & Bungalows condominium association. Stay tuned!
