Wilderness Explorers Station Currently Closed at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom offers Guests the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Russell from Up, via Wilderness Explorers! Although there are plenty of stations to visit at the Park, unfortunately, one is currently closed.

To begin, pick up a handbook from headquarters, located on the bridge between the Oasis and Discovery Island. You can also stop by one of the troop leader spots located in Africa, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Asia, Dinoland U.S.A., and Pandora – The World of Avatar!
Then, it’s off you go! Participate in challenges with a nature theme as you work your way toward becoming a Wilderness Explorer!

A self-guided activity, there are over 25 badges to collect! Our MickeyBlogger is visiting Animal Kingdom today, where he noticed the closure of one of its stations.
Station Currently Closed
This particular Wilderness Explorers Station is located behind the Tree of Life, as you exit “It’s Tough to be a Bug!”
It’s one of the many stops where kids can acquire a sticker for their book!
Albeit this one is a bit hidden. It doesn’t even show up on the app!
It’s set along the path behind the tree. Our MickeyBlogger observed that upon its closure, equipment is being stored here.
We’re not sure when this station will reopen, so be advised that it may be closed upon your visit. That being said, there are many other locations available!
For now, you’ll just have to skip the Wilderness Explorers Station at the Tree of Life, as it’s currently closed.
