We Spotted a Disney Celebrity Filming in Magic Kingdom This Morning!
On our walk right down the middle of Main Street USA this morning at the Magic Kingdom, we happened upon actress Dara Renee, who was in the park’s hub filming something for Disney!
Renee, of course, is perhaps best known for portraying Kourtney Greene in the Disney+ hit High School Musical: The Musical: The Series during the show’s four-year run.

The actress’s relationship with Disney, however, runs deeper than that!
A Disney Star
During her time on High School Musical, Renee also hosted Disney’s Magic Bake-Off alongside Raven’s Home star Issac Ryan Brown. The cooking competition show ran on the Disney Channel in 2021.

Up next for the young star will be a turn as Ulyana, the sister of Ursula, in the upcoming Descendants: The Rise of Red.

While Renee may be one of the most proflic young Disney actresses going right now, that isn’t why she was filming in the Magic Kingdom today.
Why Renee Was in the Magic Kingdom
Instead, it was her role as a DREAMbassador for the Dreamers Academy that brought her to Walt Disney World.
For those who don’t know, the Disney Dreamers Academy is a 4-day Event held yearly with a mission to provide youth with an opportunity to learn how they can harness the power of their dreams.

No matter the reason, it was pretty magical to see Renee filming in the Magic Kingdom. It just goes to show you never know who you will see in The Most Magical Place On Earth.
