NEW Signage Pops Up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom
We’ve got an exciting update to share with you from the Magic Kingdom this morning, over at the site of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. A series of new signage has cropped up on the attraction, taking us one step closer towards the highly-anticipated opening of the ride!
Keep scrolling, folks, and let’s see what’s going on!
“Opening This Summer”
Ever since construction began on the Splash Mountain to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure transformation, it has felt like excitement has been mounting with every single refurbishment update.
Every sprig of lush new foliage added, every sneak preview from Disney, every new peek at colorful lanterns hanging inside…it’s all building the most vibrant anticipation to the attraction’s opening — and we MickeyBloggers can’t get enough of it!
So, when our reporters spotted these eye-catching new signs and other updates on today’s visit to the site, we couldn’t contain our excitement. Just like Tiana herself said, we’re getting closer and closer every day!
New Signage
So, what exactly are these signs telling us? Well, first of all, let’s take a moment to comment on how cute they are!
Featuring Louis, the bold, color-blocked signs match the designs of those we’ve seen around the construction site previously, offering both theming and important insight into the attraction.
Each sign clearly reads “Sorry friends, we are ride testing only.”
In case you missed the news, flume testing began at the ride earlier this month, giving guests an exciting preview of the logs racing down the mountain as part of the ride’s track.
The signs will work in reference to this, making sure guests who witness the moving vehicles understand that they’re in the testing stages only — and are certainly not suitable for anyone to hop aboard!
Beneath this notice, the sign also reads, “Opening this summer.”
Here at MickeyBlog, we’ve been counting down to the summer opening for months — so this definitely isn’t news to our ears!
What do you make of the new signage on the site? We definitely appreciate it, and love having Louis’ face to look at as we admire the construction progress!
New Barn Details
Another, even brighter feature we’ve been loving monitoring at the site is the bright yellow barn.
Featuring a gorgeously vibrant mural, this structure has been one we’ve been admiring for a while now… but it was a different part of the barn that caught our attention today!
Peering through the scaffolding, we can see a new barn door has been added!
How exciting!
A View from the Station
Moving up to the Frontierland Train Station, we can see even more exciting updates starting to appear.
Looking down, we can see much more foliage has been planted surrounding the second walkway, sure to bring even more brightness and cheer to the area once it’s completed.
It has to be said, the view from up here sure does show an awful lot of work going on!
An area we perhaps can’t see as much into is over on the other side of the station, where construction walls are blocking off the development of a new stairwell.
While it’s hard to see too much of the work going on behind the barriers, our eagle-eyed reporters definitely noticed work has been progressing here — so we’re excited to keep an eye on it for more updates very soon!
That’s all for your construction update from over here at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure today! As always, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all our first-class updates, news, and more!
