Country Bear Jamboree Closed for Refurbishment in Magic Kingdom
A water ride in one of the Disney World parks has been closed for over two months, but now, it has reopened a bit early!
Kali River Rapids Reopens
Kali River Rapids has reopened early in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The ride wasn’t scheduled to be open until tomorrow, March 16th.
Kali River Rapids has been closed for regularly scheduled maintenance since January 8th of this year. It’s not unusual to see rides shut down for refurb during the colder months of the year, especially water rides.
This was likely just for normal maintenance that rides require to keep running smoothly. There haven’t been any major changes made to the ride!
Kali River Rapids is located in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom, right before you get to Maharajah Jungle Trek.
There is a height requirement — you have to be at least 38 inches tall to ride.
It’s one of those classic round-raft water rides that takes you through some exciting rapids and some dips and drops. You will most likely get wet, and some will even get drenched!
So, go on and enjoy the reopened ride a day early! This is a great option for when it’s super hot outside and you need to cool down (and don’t mind getting wet!).
