Walt Disney Presents
Today we’re over at Animation Courtyard, where the Walt Disney Presents building is always looking vibrant and welcoming under those jazzy marquee lights.
Home to a range of different attractions, this building is often regarded as a nostalgic must-visit for guests, especially those with a deep love of the history of Disney and the movie-making process.
While the front portion of the space houses a gallery exploration of all things Walt Disney, the rear of the building is where guests will find a medium-sized theater.
It’s here that we can catch showings of Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream – a moving documentary following the realization of Walt’s passions into the magic we know today. Often, preview clips of upcoming Disney and Pixar movies can also be caught on this screen too – a favorite among excited moviegoers!
However, upon arriving in that alarmingly-carpeted area this week, our MickeyBlog reporters noticed that a somber black curtain had been drawn across the theater’s entrance.
It’s closed for refurbishment!
So, if you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week and are hoping for a bit of history, you may need to re-think your plans when it comes to this theater show.
We can’t say for sure when the curtain will once again be lifted on this area, but are glad to report that the rest of the Walt Disney Presents building is still open for regular exploration.
As always, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all the latest closure, construction, and refurbishment news from around the Disney Parks.
In the meantime, we’ll hope to see One Man’s Dream open up again very soon – it’s a must-watch for any passionate fan!
