Mission Accomplished! Newly Refurbished Mission: SPACE Sign Returns to EPCOT
After what feels like an eternity of waiting, the planets have finally realigned in World Discovery, and a newly refurbished Mission: SPACE sign has touched down in front of the attraction.
Over the last several weeks, we have seen the Mission: SPACE attraction sign and even some of the planets disappear.
Now, however, everything appears to be right again outside Mission: SPACE.
The Mission: SPACE Entrance Sign Has Returned
Previously, we brought you the news that both Earth and Mars had landed back outside the pavilion after undergoing a complete refurbishment.
Now, I am happy to report that the eagle has landed, and a newly refurbished Mission: SPACE entrance sign has returned to the pavilion.
Although the sign’s design hasn’t changed, it looks brand new!
In addition to the attraction’s name, the sign features stunning views of both Earth and Mars.
My favorite part of the sign, however, is that, for lack of a better word, it is “reversible.”
The back of the sign features completely different looks at both planets!
Following the refurbishment, the sign really pops! It looks amazing and fits well with the overall World Discovery aesthetic.
One More to Go?
With the installation of the attraction’s entrance sign, Mission: SPACE looks better than ever.
I should note, however, that the sign by the Mission Space Cargo Bay has not been refurbished yet and looks fairly shabby by comparison.
Hopefully, Imagineers give this sign some love next!
