Spaceship Earth Lights Up the Night Sky to End the First Day of EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival
As twilight fell on the first day of the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival, EPCOT came alive with lights and music.
Guests entering or exiting the park after nightfall were greeted by the Wish topiary that has been installed for the festival.
As we predicted, at nighttime, Star illuminates, adding a little extra Disney magic to an already incredible sight.
Here is a closer look at the celestial body lit up. If that doesn’t bring a smile to your face, then I don’t know what will!

Encanto Beacons of Magic Returns
Back at Spaceship Earth, the special Encanto-themed Beacons of Magic light show has also made its return to the park.
The special ‘Encanto’ themed Beacons of Light returned to Flower & Garden this year.
For those who don’t know, the Beacons of Magic light show is performed periodically throughout the night. As Spaceship Earth twinkles and dances, music plays throughout World Celebration.

As a special treat for visitors to the International Flower & Garden Festival, music from Disney’s Encanto plays! If you have ever dreamed of hearing “What Else Can I Do?” as Spaceship Earth illuminates the night sky, now is your chance.
So, if you plan on visiting the International Flower & Garden Festival this year, make sure you stay until nightfall! You won’t want to miss all the sights and sounds that await you!
