Something is Missing at EPCOT’s Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
If you’re visiting EPCOT’s Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana this week, you may find something missing from the inspiring fan-favorite attraction.
On a recent visit to the park, our team noticed that a key water feature is currently closed to guests.
Let’s investigate!
Something Missing at Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
Since its debut in October 2023, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana has invited Disney guests to learn about water conservation and explore the water cycle through engaging fun-filled water features.
This week, a particularly magical water feature is closed to guests as it undergoes maintenance.
A sign near the exhibit reads “Sorry! The water is not feeling playful right now. Please enjoy the rest of water’s magical journey!”
When operational, the water feature invites guests to use their hands to guide the water up and down.
However, the water feature is currently out of commission. The area is roped off and a dark scrim encases the area.
Guests must use the “dry path” to venture through the rest of the attraction.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
There is no news from Disney on when the water feature will return. Until then, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana remains open to guests despite the missing exhibit.
Luckily for guests, the attraction has plenty of other amazing features to enjoy!
With beautiful lush gardens, exciting interactive exhibits, and a stunning, larger-than-life Te Fiti topiary, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is not to be missed!
