Scrooge McDuck Will Make His Marvel Comics Debut This June
This June, Scrooge McDuck is set to star in his first-ever Marvel comic book when Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1 hits shelves across the country.
Since his debut nearly 80 years ago in Carl Barks’s masterpiece Christmas on Bear Mountain, Scrooge McDuck has been one of the biggest stars in comic books. Still, after all these years, Scrooge has never appeared in Marvel Comics — until now.

Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1 will be written by Jason Aaron, who has penned some of the X-Men and Avengers’ most iconic modern stories.
“As far as I’m concerned, there’s no disputing the fact that Uncle Scrooge is one of the absolute greatest characters in the history of comics. And I don’t just mean comics that feature talking animals. I mean all comics ever, bar none,” Aaron shared.

Marvel’s First Crack at the Disney Comics
Before he was the star of DuckTales, Scrooge McDuck was known for his harrowing adventures in Disney’s comic books. As the upcoming Scrooge comic will mark Marvel’s first foray into the world of Disney’s comic books, the publisher is going all out.

According to Marvel, the oversized special will “also re-present Christmas on Bear Mountain so readers can experience Scrooge’s groundbreaking first appearance as he enters this exciting new era!”
A Multiversal Adventure
In Uncle $crooge and the Infinity Dime #1, Scrooge embarks on a classic Marvel adventure as he enters the Multiverse to stop an alternate Scrooge from becoming the “all-powerful and incomprehensibly rich Scrooge-Above-All!”
Not only will the upcoming series feature Scrooge’s debut, but it will also introduce Huey, Duey, Louie, and even Gyro Gearloose to the world of Marvel.
