Is Magic Kingdom Swapping Out Mickey Wreaths With Cinderella Pumpkin Carriage Wreaths?
If you’ve ever visited Walt Disney World in the Fall, you’ll know that the cheerful Micky Pumpkin Wreaths that adorn the lamp posts up and down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom, are one of the first signs that the Halloween season has officially arrived!
However, last week we noticed a new arrival in the HUB in front of Cinderella Castle.
This new, very beautiful and elaborate 50th Anniversary pumpkins started to crop up!
From the golden accents on the pumpkin carriage to the wheels that extend beyond the wreaths, I think these are truly stunning.
However, we initially suspected that these NEW wreaths would be put up in addition to the Mickey Mouse ones.
However, today we noticed during our visit that the Cinderella wreaths were now making an appearance at the start of Main Street USA as well.
As you can see, here they are in front of the Emporium on Main Street.
You can find them now on both sides of Main Street. Below you can see La Chapeau in the background.
We have to admit that these wreaths do look positively stunning.
Disney may have decided to put them in place for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration which kicks off on October 1st.
We’ll keep an eye on the decorating and will definitely let you know if we have any further news and updates.
