Lion King, Donald, and More Topiaries Arrive for Flower & Garden Festival
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is happening from February 28th to May 27th, 2024, and the Walt Disney World theme park is busy getting ready.
We have already shared amazing photos of the transformation happening each day, and we are getting more excited as the opening festival date grows closer.
Each Spring, EPCOT comes to life with its stunning gardens, fresh menu items, and lively entertainment.
One of our favorite experiences during this annual festival is discovering the stunning topiary sculptures of our favorite Disney characters.
We have already spotted quite a few of our faves including Figment, Goofy, and our friends from Encanto. And now a few more topiaries have popped up overnight.
More Topiaries Spotted
The gorgeous gardens and unique topiaries are a definite highlight of the festival each year, and we love spotting our favorite Disney characters.
And here are two friends we are always happy to see.
Pumbaa and Timon are looking great! They were spotted earlier today in World Nature, near the Land pavilion.
As we continued to explore, we spotted a few more Lion King friends!
Rafiki, Simba, Mufasa and Sarabi have been added amongst the colorful flowers. The yellow, red, and orange blooms are the perfect color combo.
We also stopped by the Community Garden in World Celebration to see if any new topiaries popped up, and we were not disappointed.
We found Donald Duck just in front of Connections Eatery.
Donald is enjoying his time outside, and I love all of the trees and flowers surrounding him. It definitely gets us in the mood for spring!
Our last stop was a quick walk through the gardens in World Celebration Plaza where we spotted this trio.
Donald’s nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie have popped up in anticipation of the festival. The three brothers hold various garden tools and are ready to spend some quality time in nature.
The festival kickoff is just around the corner and these new topiaries are getting us excited for everything else yet to come.
Stay tuned and be sure to follow along with MickeyBlog to stay updated on this and all things Disney.
