EPCOT Is Already Getting Ready For This Year’s Flower and Garden Festival
While EPCOT has currently come alive for the 2024 International Festival of the Arts, the park is also looking ahead to the 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival.
When the Festival of the Arts ends on February 19, Walt Disney World will have less than 10 days to get EPCOT ready for its next festival.
These days, festivals are year-long events at Disney World’s second park. The rapidity in which they come can sometimes put EPCOT in a time crunch.
Work Begins on the Festival Butterfly Garden
Even as EPCOT is full of inspiring artwork, delectable cuisine, and Disney on Broadway entertainment, work is subtly done to get ready for Flower and Garden.
Over in World Nature, near the Imagination! pavilion and scrims have gone up in preparation for the festival’s butterfly garden.
The enclosed area will be the future site of the Butterfly Garden.
For those who don’t know, guests can trot through an enclosed area filled with hundreds of butterflies during Flower and Garden.

As you can see, none of the foliage or butterflies have been installed yet. The area has been fenced off, however.
The 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will kick off on February 28 and run through May 27. During that time, the park will be filled with topiary displays, exhibits, and, of course, food.
