PHOTOS: Beautiful Festival Character Topiaries Bloom at EPCOT
With the most colorful festival on the horizon here at EPCOT, the park is alive with blooms, buds, and beauty. Today we’re talking topiaries, as a selection of stunning seasonal displays has just cropped up here in the park.

2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
There’s magic and pollen in the air here, as the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival is set to bloom at EPCOT on February 28th. It’s only a matter of days away, so it’s no wonder that work is already underway to transform the park ready for the most colorful event.
So far, we’ve already seen flower beds be planted, and a few spectacular topiaries begin to crop up. We’ve even more of these green displays to show you today, so let’s go see which characters we can spot!
Buzz Lightyear topiary
Buzz Lightyear Topiary
First up in the topiary parade is the one and only Buzz Lightyear!

All the way from infinity and beyond, we’re so thrilled to see Buzz return yet again to be a fan-favorite topiary here for the festival.
If you’re wondering why these topiaries have been installed so early, one of the reasons is that it gives the flowers time to bloom properly before the festival officially begins.
So, while Buzz is looking vibrant and colorful already here today, we’re sure he’ll look even more spectacular once the 28th rolls around!

The Buzz topiary can once again be located in World Discovery, with the planets of Mission: SPACE looking cool and thematic behind him.
An out-of-this-world photo spot for the festival, for sure!

Bambi Topiary
The second topiary display we want to show you features three of the cutest characters from Bambi.
Bambi, Thumper, and Flower
It’s Flower, Thumper, and Bambi himself, all frolicking over here on the outskirts of the World Showcase!

As you can see from the photos, these colorful and clever topiaries are situated in thick, long grass and bright flowers, making the woodland pals look ever-so playful and cute.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, but that fuzz on top of Flower’s head sure does look sweet!

Bambi and pals can be spotted on a bank just before the Canada pavilion, near to the Refreshment Port stand.
Make sure to pay them a visit before your next World Showcase adventure!

Woody & Bo Peep Topiary
Next up, we’re going back to Andy’s toy box, for another Pixar-inspired display!

It’s Woody and Bo Peep, looking beautiful with their sheep amidst an array of building block planters.

We’ve seen this topiary design at previous festivals, but this year the display has been moved to a new location across from CommuniCore Hall.
Bo Peep topiary
The spot is situated right beneath a Monorail line too, meaning we’re sure this will make an incredible photo opportunity as the train whizzes past during the festival!

Those leafy sheep sure are fun, so we’re so glad to see this design back in a prominent space this year.

A Few More to Grow…
While we’re excited to be able to show you a few completed topiary displays here at EPCOT, we’re well aware that there’s plenty more still to crop up as the Flower & Garden Festival approaches.
Empty beds like these pictured here can be spotted in various positions across the park, just waiting for topiary characters to take their places ready for the event.
