First 2024 Flower & Garden Festival Beds Crop Up at EPCOT
We’ve got some exciting news to share with you all from EPCOT today…
The 2024 Flower & Garden Festival is fast approaching, and some beautiful flower beds have cropped up already! Let’s take a look!
2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival
Well, it sure does look like spring has sprung here at EPCOT! Not only are the skies blue and the birds a-chirping, but there are some bold, eye-catching new flower beds catching our attention on the park’s grassy banks.
As you can see from these photos snapped by our MickeyBlog reporters today, the beds feature bold, colorful flower designs and butterfly shapes, sure to frame the blue lagoon perfectly.
It can only mean one thing, of course: that the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is fast approaching!
Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, however, let’s just back up a second. Weren’t we all talking about chalk art and Broadway songs a minute ago?
Festival to Festival
Yes, at the moment, it’s the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts which is currently underway here at the park.
Set to take place until February 19th, EPCOT is currently alive with all things culture, artistry, design, and music. So, why all these flowers?
Well, the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival is set to begin later this month, beginning on February 28th. Planting the beds now gives the flowers a chance to grow, and be in beautiful bloom for the festival to begin!
Plus, it can’t be denied that the colorful blooms only add to the artistry of the park, meaning that guests visiting during these first few weeks of February can see EPCOT at perhaps its most beautiful state!
Butterfly House
Another fun update we have to share in Flower & Garden Festival prep is over here at the butterfly house location.
Last week, we noticed that scrim had been placed where the festival’s iconic butterfly house would be situated. Today, we can see that roofing wires and poles have also been added, making the structure one step closer to being filled with beautiful insects.
Over the coming days, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com as we eagerly await EPCOT’s transformation into a beautiful, floral paradise.
We expect to see a second flower bed crop up soon (at present, it’s the bank closest to the Odyssey pavilion that has received its flowers) and more details to be revealed surrounding the festival’s offerings.
We can’t wait, and we’re looking forward to having you join for the floral, festive fun with us!
