This Gumbo Really Let Us Down in Disney World
We’ve been eating SO much fun food today, from beignets to chocolate piñatas to BLTs. This is all because the Valentine’s Day treats and all of the food for Celebrate Soulfully are available in Disney World starting today!

Gumbo at Hollywood Studios
This is the Gumbo from ABC Commissary! It has chicken, andouille sausage, okra, and seasonings simmered in chicken stock and served over rice for $10.99.
We’ll cut right to the chase — we didn’t love this dish. It had a bit of spice to it, but not enough for our liking.
The rice that was served with the gumbo was good, but the actual gumbo itself didn’t have a lot of flavor.
This just wasn’t seasoned enough for us so it was pretty bland. Even the meat wasn’t very flavorful.
Also, beware that if you don’t like the texture of cooked okra, maybe stay away from this.
If you want to eat at ABC Commissary, there are better options permanently on the menu than this gumbo, so we’d suggest to pick something else.
