New Cupid’s Mousse Flies into Disney’s Yacht & Beach Clubs for Valentine’s Day

A brand-new dessert has just shot into two of the most picturesque resort hotels, offering the sweetest date idea for your February trip. Keep reading to see where to find the cutest, Cupid-inspired cake at Disney, as well as our full review!

Before we get into trying this dessert, we want to take you on a pleasant flight on the Disney Skyliner over to the EPCOT resort area. From your stop, you’re going to want to take a pretty stroll over to either Disney’s Yacht or Beach Club resorts, where Cupid’s arrow has punctured the menus with love and chocolate!
Today, our MickeyBlogger Kayla was visiting The Market at Disney’s Yacht Club, where she found this adorable new treat.
It’s called “Cupid’s Mousse,” and we couldn’t wait to hear what Kayla thought!
Cupid’s Mousse
How sweet is this? What we have here is a Devil’s food cake, complete with a cherry compote and vanilla bean mousse. It sounds temptingly rich and romantic, so of course we had to give it a taste!
So, what did our reporter Kayla think of the treat?
Well, first and foremost, we all agreed that this thing sure is cute. It’s a love-heart red in color, with a tiny chocolate Cupid’s bow and arrow placed delicately on top. Very appropriate for the season!
But, did the arrow hit the mark, is the question we want answering. Unfortunately, not really.
While the crumbly cake was tasty and rich, Kayla found that the creamy curd was oddly gelatinous in texture. She also shared that the compote wasn’t as fresh-tasting as we would have liked.
Although this is a cute treat, we don’t really feel like it deserves a MickeyBlog mark of approval this time. Especially for the price of $6.99, it’s quite small and unimpressive!
This being said, it’s undeniable that Disney’s Yacht and Beach Clubs make a beautiful place to visit during a Valentine’s Day date here at Walt Disney World. And, with plenty of other delicious, limited-time treats to be found across the resort during February, we’re sure this month will still be as tasty and romantic than ever before!
