This morning, our MickeyBlog reporters are over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — arguably the most romantic of all the Disney hotels. Here, we’ve located a beautifully sweet new treat available on one of the resort’s restaurant menus, so we knew we had to place an order!

What we have here is a Raspberry Macaron Heart, a perfect treat to enjoy in this most romantic month.
It’s a classic, heart-shaped macaron filled with fresh raspberries, raspberry cream, and a tangy passion fruit curd for $5.99. Sounds delicious!

The treat is even finished with a flurry of heart-shaped sprinkles in red and pink, to add even more cute romance to the treat!

It was our MickeyBlogger Elyssa who tried this dessert today, and we’re happy to report that she definitely enjoyed it. According to Elyssa, the macaron was perfectly crisp and subtly sweet, perfectly complimenting the consistencies of its filling.

Elyssa told us that the passion fruit curd was delicious and worked well with the light raspberry cream, while the fresh raspberries themselves brought a tangy sweetness that reminded us of the coming spring.
