The emotional Disney classic has pulled on the heartstrings of Disney fans for over 20 years and even earned a spot in Magic Kingdom’s moving nighttime spectacular “Happily Ever After” in Walt Disney World.

But of course, Collins’s music career began long before he collaborated with Disney.
A West London native, Collins began drumming at the early age of five. In 1970, he began his illustrious career as the drummer for the now-famous rock band Genesis. Before long, Genesis skyrocketed to stardom and Collins became the lead singer.
In the following years, Phil Collins would enjoy a successful solo career, releasing popular hits like “In the Air Tonight” and “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now).”
