Happily Ever After Returns to Magic Kingdom!
It’s back, it’s back, it’s BACK — Happily Ever After has finally returned to Walt Disney World! The beloved fireworks show is officially happening again in Magic Kingdom.
The show ended back in 2021 so that Disney Enchantment could take place for the 50th Anniversary celebrations. But, the 50th celebrations just ended last month, so Enchantment has ended as well.
When Disney first announced that Happily Ever After was gone from the park, it seemed as if it was a permanent change. But, we found out last year at D23 Expo that the fireworks show would be returning!
We already got a preview of the show, but tonight is the first night it’s open to all guests at Magic Kingdom.
Happily Ever After Returns
The 18-minute show returned tonight, April 3rd, at 9PM.
It takes place on Main Street, U.S.A., with the main part of the show happing on and around Cinderella Castle.
But, if you’re standing further down on Main Street, you will also see projections on the storefronts!
The colorful images dazzle up and down Main Street, and the crowd is loving the return of the show.
The show is just as it was before (besides those projections down Main Street!), so you can sing along to the theme song while watching those amazing visuals on the castle.
We would recommend finding a spot for the show relatively early if you want to get a good view.
Crowds form quickly and are sure to be especially big right now because so many people will want to see the return of the show!
Also, be sure to keep an eye on the entertainment schedule for Magic Kingdom, because showtimes could change. And, note that weather may impact the show as well.
Are you excited for the return of Happily Ever After?
This is a must-see experience when visiting Magic Kingdom, and the perfect way to end the night.
We’ll keep you updated with everything you need to know about Disney World, so stay tuned for more news and updates!
