Update: Construction Walls Removed at Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom
Liberty Square has looked a little different in recent weeks with Columbia Harbour House largely hidden behind construction scrim.
But progress abounds at Columbia Harbour House, and construction appears to be moving toward the finish line.
Our team stopped by for a closer look. Let’s check it out!
A Fresh New Look
There’s just something so charming about the New England-inspired theming of Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom.
And Columbia Harbour House, which reflects the traditional colonial look of Liberty Square on one side and the enchanting German vibe of Fantasyland on the other, is truly the best of both worlds!
After several months behind construction scrim, the walls have come down, and the beautiful exterior of the popular quick-service restaurant is now (mostly) back to normal.
Previously, scrim extended from either side of the door, running down the length of the building toward Fantasyland. As a result, nearly the entire facade of the restaurant was obscured from view.
Recently, the scrim has been removed from the left side of the building, allowing easier access to the door….
….and a better view of the building’s beautiful facade!
We love seeing this charming building in its full glory!
What to Eat at Columbia Harbour House
Columbia Harbour House remains open to guests throughout the recent construction. So what should you eat when you stop by for a bite?
Columbia Harbour House offers traditional American fare from creamy New England Clam Chowder to a savory New England Shrimp Boil. But our favorite is the mouth-watering Lobster Roll (currently priced at $16.99)!
