Alert! The Pinocchio Village Haus Bathrooms Are Closed For Refurbishment

As a die-hard Disney fan, I can’t help but feel that there is something a little strange in the things that we become attached to. Whether they be small details in attractions, iconic signs, or a specific smell (the oranges on Soarin’?). While other guests pass by these small details and never pay them the time of day, for Disney fans, the details become intertwined with some of the happiest memories of our lives.

All of this is a preamble to say that I have a favorite bathroom in the Magic Kingdom.

The fabled Tangled toilets

Call me crazy, but while others fawn over the Tangled toilets or point out the Skyway bathrooms in Tomorrowland, I champion the Pinocchio Village Hause bathrooms in Fantasyland.

Located next to one of my favorite restaurants in the Magic Kingdom, these out-of-the-way restrooms have been a part of my Disney trips for as long as I can remember.

Well, I am both happy and sad to report that the Pinocchio Village Hause bathrooms are currently closed for refurbishment.

If you plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom in the foreseeable future, the central Fantasyland bathrooms are out of order.

A map has been placed on the construction wall, guiding guests to either the Tangled bathrooms or the Gaston’s Tavern lavatories.

Here is a look at the current state of the facilities.

We don’t have a timeline for how long the bathrooms will be closed. It doesn’t seem like it will be a lengthy refurbishment, however.
