New Pressed Pennies Located in EPCOT
MickeyBlogger Melissa was at EPCOT, and she found new pressed pennies located around the park. One was at Disney Traders while the other was at the Norway Pavilion. First, here is the one at Disney Traders.
Penny at Disney Traders
Disney Traders had a new pressed penny with Groot and Rocket from The Guardians of the Galaxy. As you can see, this penny is for the Disney100 celebration.
It appears like Groot is dancing, of course. Meanwhile, Rocket stands with complete confidence.
The penny distinctly says, “100 Years of Wonder” which marks 100 years of the Walt Disney Company. It’s hard to believe we’ve had these creative talents for so long!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCO) became part of The Walt Disney Company in 2009. So, these characters are a huge part of the company and, therefore, the celebration!
Fun fact, you can use credit cards to purchase pressed pennies at Walt Disney World, including Visa, Apple Pay, Discover, Mastercard, Google Pay, and American Express.
However, you can also use cash by inserting a $1.00 bill into the slot.
If you’re curious about the pressed penny locations, then you can search for them on the Disney World website or on your My Disney Experience app.
Coin at Norway
In addition, we found another pressed penny at the Norway Pavilion in the World Showcase at EPCOT.
Once again, this penny is part of the Disney100 celebration, and it features two beloved ladies.
Can you tell who is on the penny? Yes, it’s Anna and Elsa (and Olaf too)!
Of course, Anna and Elsa stand back-to-back, watching out for each other, as always.
Meanwhile, Olaf waves in the background. Accordingly, this penny also says, “Disney 100 Years of Wonder.”
