PHOTOS: Snow Falls on Disneyland Paris Creating Enchanted Winter Sights
In all my years of visiting Walt Disney World, I have seen a lot of things. I’ve seen hurricanes blow through, unexpected downpours, and even the COVID-19-era parks. Still, I have never got to experience what visitors to Disneyland Paris got to see today- snow in a Disney Park!
That’s right, this year’s first snowfall hit Paris today as a cold weather system moved through France.
Snow Falls on Disneyland Paris
As you can see, Disneyland Paris is even beautiful when it snows! Here is a look at the park’s iconic castle.
While snow at Disneyland Paris isn’t unheard of, it is a fairly rare sight. Paris averages as little as three days of snow a year, and some years, it doesn’t snow at all!
Luckily, after a couple of inches of snow fell overnight, Cast Members captured some of the park’s iconic attractions covered in the fresh powder.
Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor look especially poignant in the snow. The winter look adds a whole new dimension to the attractions.
Even Hyperspace Mountain develops a new character with its winter look.
Here is another view.
Winter in Adventureland
Here is a view of Skull Rock and the Pirate Galleon docked in Adventureland.
This would be a chilly, but beautiful voyage!
Finally, here is a look at Thunder Meda and Adventureland. The snow really adds a new dynamic to the lands’ stories.
What a beautiful sight!
While it seems unlikely that I will ever get a chance to see the Magic Kingdom covered in a layer of snow, hopefully one day I will make the trek to Paris.
If today’s snow shows one thing, the Disney Parks look beautiful in any season!
