Former Disney Executive Rebecca Campbell Joins Meow Wolf Board of Directors
Former Walt Disney Company executive Rebecca Campbell has been named to the immersive art collective Meow Wolf’s board of directors.
“I am tremendously excited about Rebecca joining our board. She brings unparalleled expertise which will help guide Meow Wolf’s continued evolution,” Chirs Sobecki, chair of Meow Wolf’s board, said.
“Her extensive background in international media and themed entertainment provides an extraordinary strategic advantage as we build Meow Wolf’s future on a global scale.”
A Storied Disney Career
Campbell had over 25 years of experience at Disney before retiring in 2023. Most recently, she served as chairman of international content and operations. Prior to that, she led Disney’s direct-to-consumer and international operations. She also formally held the job title of president of the Walt Disney Company in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
“Meow Wolf is creating the future with immersive, unforgettable adventures. Art is the foundation, and community is paramount,” said Campbell.
“As a firm believer in the power of interactive experiences, I see tremendous potential in Meow Wolf’s unique approach to entertainment and am excited to join the board of directors.”

During her storied Disney career, Campbell also had experience in the Disney Parks, serving as president of Disneyland.
