The One Thing at This Festival of the Arts Booth That’s Worth Your Time
We’re at the first day of the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! There’s all kinds of fun food, entertainment, merchandise, and more in celebration of the festival.
And now it’s time to check out some of the cuisine over at L’Arte di Mangiare!
L’Arte di Mangiare
This booth is in the Italy Pavilion!
All of the menu items are apparently returning, but some we haven’t seen in a while, so let’s go try some food.
We started with the Mozzarella Fritta for $8.50. This is flash-fried breaded fresh mozzarella with artist palette condiments.
You can’t really go wrong with fried cheese! The cheese itself didn’t have a lot of flavor, but that’s okay because it’s paired with all of those sauces.
The sauces include a pesto, a red sauce, balsamic, and a cream sauce. We personally enjoyed the balsamic the most with this one!
Next, we got the Conchiglie Ripiene for $9.50. This is baked stuffed conchiglie pasta with beef, ricotta, peas, pomodoro, and creamy sauce.
This was very bland overall. It really just felt like a dish that is stuck in the microwave, which is not very appealing. And, the inside of this was NOT pleasant to look at. Yikes. This is bad.
Finally, we grabbed the Torta Ricotta di Cioccolata for $8. This is a simple chocolate cheesecake and whipped cream.
This is the best food item at this booth in our opinion! We would come back just for this dessert. It is SUPER rich and chocolatey, but it’s very delicious. It’s also not overly sweet!
As for drinks, we got the Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail for $15. This drink is a mix of a mint-infused elderflower liqueur, prosecco, and sparkling blood orange.
This is like a tasty sparkling rosé! It’s more on the sweet side rather than the dry side, so if you like sweeter bubbly drinks, this is for you!
If you want other beverages here, you can get the Peroni Pilsner ($6.50 for 6 oz. or $11 for 12 oz.), Langhe Nebbiolo for $14, Prosecco for $11.75, Italian Sangria (Red or White) for $12, or the Italian Margarita with tequila and limoncello for $12.
Overall, we’d only go back for the dessert (and maybe the cocktail), but the fried cheese is probably something kids will enjoy.
