Work Is Being Done To 3D Disney Vacation Club Sign On Way To Disney World
If you’ve driven to Walt Disney World before you’ve likely seen this sign!
This fun 3d design billboard was used to celebrate Disney Vacation Club (DVC)
It shows Goofy driving a minivan with Pluto hanging out the back window.
The top of the car features colorful luggage!
If something looks different about this sign, you would be right!
For several weeks now scaffolding has been up at the site of the billboard.
Though we weren’t sure whether Disney had plans to take the sign down completely (Like the famous Tower of Terror sign that was recently removed) or just refurbish it.
It now looks as if they’re just updating the billboard and that it will stay up in its currently location.
However, curiously enough, the minivan was once bright red and now its blue!?
Here at MickeyBlog, we aren’t entirely sure why Disney has opted to change the color.
However, it doesn’t appear that the work on the sign is finished as of yet.
So perhaps as more work is carried out, the reason for the change will become clear!
This is a story that we will continue to follow closely.
