Blizzard Beach Closed Until Later This Week in Disney World
Even during Disney World’s busiest season, there can still be some things that aren’t open at the resort. Unexpected closures can really throw a wrench into your plans for the day.
That’s why we like to let you know about the closures as soon as we can! And, there is a big closure happening over the next few days.
Blizzard Beach Closed
Blizzard Beach is closed from today, Monday, December 18th through Wednesday, December 20th. This is likely due to colder temperatures in the area.

Even though it is called Blizzard Beach, that doesn’t mean it’s fun to hang out in your bathing suit while it’s cold outside! In the next few days, Disney World will see some cooler temperatures.
The high today is only 66 degrees, and the low is 45. Tomorrow, the high is 60 degrees and the low is 46 and on Wednesday the high is 69 and the low is 53.
This weather will probably be pretty pleasant in the theme parks, but not at the water park.
Right now, Blizzard Beach should be open again on Thursday, December 21st, but we’ll let you know if anything changes.
The water park also closed over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) due to the weather — there was a bunch of rain and storms in the area. So right now, the park will be closed for 5 days straight.
