Blizzard Beach Closes After Only 2 Hours in Disney World
When you think about Disney World, you don’t really think about cold weather, right? Well, even though it’s located in Central Florida, Disney World can see relatively cold weather during the fall and winter.

Many might see this as a blessing considering the norm in Disney is usually sweltering heat, but it can have its negative impacts. In fact, we might be seeing the negative impacts of cooler weather right now.
Blizzard Beach Closed
Blizzard Beach was open from 10AM to 12PM today, and now it’s closed for the rest of the day.

It’s about 70 degrees in Disney World right now, so we’re kind of confused as to why the park has shut down, because it doesn’t seem to be due to cold weather. But, maybe 70 is still a bit too chilly to be at the water park!
The park was also closed yesterday, but that was actually due to cold weather, since it was around 50 degrees in the morning and the high only got up to about 64.
Blizzard Beach is showing normal operating hours for tomorrow, where it says it will be open from 10AM to 5PM. However, it seems like that could possibly change if this pattern continues.
