Brrrr! Chilly Temps Close Disney’s Blizzard Beach Today!
Good morning MickeyBlog! It is a beautiful sunny day here in Walt Disney World and there is only one problem! It is chilly!
Many Disney guests and central Floridians woke up to temperatures in the upper 40s this morning, and we are not used to this weather.
Will these chilly times affect your vacation? Only if you were visiting the water parks!
We checked the Walt Disney World operations page and the chilly temps have closed Disney’s Blizzard Beach today.
Blizzard Beach Closed
December is a great time of year to visit Orlando! It is cool and dry with temperatures averaging the mid-70s. Not to mention all of the holiday fun happening!
We do get hit periodically with cooler temperatures, and it looks like we have some today.
It is currently 50° with a high of 64° this afternoon around 2-3pm.
It is a mostly sunny day with a small chance of clouds and rain later on.
The good news? The weather warms up to the low 70s throughout the rest of the week, so hopefully the water park will reopen. Be sure to check Walt Disney World’s operations page and MickeyBlog to stay updated.
In the meantime, if you are looking to stay warm there is plenty of holiday fun for everyone at the Disney theme parks and the resorts. Now is a great time to visit and explore the tasty treats and special entertainment!
