New Stage Set-Up Appears At Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Something has changed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and our team stopped by to get a closer look.
A new stage set-up has appeared outside of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Black light fixtures have appeared among the greenery, transforming the area into a performance-worthy platform.
No official statement on the change has been made, but we suspect one of the DJs for Disney Jollywood Nights has relocated to the area.

Many of these changes were operational in nature, ensuring a smoother and more festive experience.
Additionally, Disney has added a laundry list of rare characters to the hard-ticketed holiday event. New characters include Mary Poppins and Penguin Waiter, Snow White and Dopey, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Santa Stitch, and Santa Duffy.
These characters now appear in addition to other rare characters like Frozone, Powerline Max, and Phineas and Ferb. Of course, you’ll also find classic meet-and-greets with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto.
Disney bills Jollywood Nights as “a shimmering holiday scene with dapper décor and themed celebrations.”
Party-goers can dance the night away at “Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club,” located at The Hollywood Tower Hotel, or enjoy smooth jazz and swanky cocktails at “Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby.”
Disney Jollywood Nights runs at Hollywood Studios on select nights through December 20, 2023. Tickets are still available for most nights and are priced at $159-$169 per person.
