MickeyBlog is LIVE From the First Night of Jollywood Nights
Welcome to the first night of the new event, Disney Jollywood Nights!
For the first time, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is hosting Jollywood Nights and we are SO ready to check it out! Follow along with us as we check out the first night of Jollywood Nights — ever.
We will be updating this post throughout the night, so please continue to check back in with us!
Party Dates & Park Hours
Jollywood Nights takes place on select nights between November 11 to December 20, 2023, from 8:30PM to 12:30AM. It requires a separate ticket that ranges in price from $159 to $179 per person, depending on the date. There are no child ticket prices for this event.
As a bonus, ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 7PM on the date of their ticket — no park reservation necessary!
At the time of writing, some party nights have sold out, but there are several still available, so don’t wait too long to get your tickets! For the first party night, the event is sold out.
Now let’s head into the park!
Crowds
We arrived promptly at 6PM, and we highly recommend getting to the park by 6 or 6:30PM to take advantage of the bonus hour and a half. As you can see, there were lines already already forming then!
We headed inside to get our wristbands next — and the map!
Map & Checking In
We visited the ONLY wristband distribution at the Mickey Shorts Theater to grab our map, wristband, and lanyard. Note that with only one wristband distribution spot, the line was LONG.
Like, REALLY long.
This is also the place to get your Jollywood Nights map, which includes all the important areas for the party…
…as well as all the other info about food, entertainment, characters, and more.
The wristband says “Disney Jollywood Nights” and fastened on comfortably.
And we also got a lanyard! Click here to see more photos of the map, wristband, and lanyard.
Characters
There are so many characters to see throughout the event! You can look below for a full list of all the characters and their locations during the party.
We met Mickey…
…Minnie…
…Daisy…

Themed Entertainment
The biggest feature of Jollywood Nights is definitely the entertainment, which includes themed entertainment as well as live entertainment.
First, there’s Welcome to Disney Jollywood Nights, where a DJ is set up at the corner of Sunset and Hollywood Boulevard, playing holiday songs mixed with modern beats.
Another DJ was set up just outside the Star Wars Launch Bay.
Next, there’s Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, which is a holiday street fair filled with Latin holiday music, located on Commissary Lane.
The Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club is an especially popular destination, where a live band plays holiday turns in the Courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel (aka the Tower of Terror).
And finally, Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby is a different kind of entertainment. To get inside, you must enter the waitlist via the My Disney Experience app or by scanning the QR code in the restaurant lobby. Once seated, you can enjoy a menu of cocktails and light bites.
Here’s what the drink menu looks like!
